David Norris is the Director of Member Experience for the company. For 20 years he has helped rapidly growing organizations delight their customers by creating tools to continuously and efficiently scale operational functions. Prior to HMA, he was a Director at Amazon during a period of explosive growth where he led critical initiatives centered on the employee experience, associate training, leadership development, and CRM development. Prior to Amazon, he was the Vice President of Operations at Optum and where he focused on the continuous enhancement of contact center technology and management practices.
David enjoys solving big problems and inspiring big, innovative ideas, particularly when there is an opportunity to improve the member experience. He also take great pride in developing new leaders and building and scaling operations for rapidly growing businesses.
David holds a JD from the University of Kansas School of Law and a BA from The University of Kansas.
Outside of work, David is a long distance runner, alpine and Nordic skier, rock climber, and hiker.
